Rams vs. Packers Spread Prediction
The Green Bay Packers opened as 7-point home favorites for Saturday’s NFL Divisional round playoff matchup with the visiting L.A. Rams, but are now only laying 6.5 points. Will the Packers cover as the home favorite or is there more value in the underdog Rams?

Los Angeles Rams DFS Spin
Jared Goff (thumb) has been removed from the final Divisional Round injury report and will start against the Packers. John Wolford (neck) has been declared out, so it will be Blake Bortles backing Goff up in the Frozen Tundra of Green Bay. Goff appeared mostly healthy after being thrust into duty against the Seahawks, but the Rams’ mid-week needle thread — Goff was healthy enough for backup duties but not quite ready to start — actually appeared true instead of being coachspeak to justify sitting a starter. With another seven days of healing under his belt, hopefully Goff’s ball placement will be there against the Packers’ stingy pass defense. The Rams are going to try to ride Cam Akers to the upset. The Pack are far more vulnerable on the ground.

Davante Adams caught 6-of-6 targets for 47 yards and a touchdown in the Packers’ Week 17 win over the Bears. It wasn’t the most explosive performance from Adams, who recorded a long reception of nine yards against Chicago. He was mostly uninvolved in the Packers’ passing attack until the fourth quarter, when Aaron Rodgers turned to his No. 1 receiver on a game-sealing drive capped off with a short Adams touchdown. Rodgers will surely lean on Adams in the team’s upcoming Super Bowl run.
Rams vs. Packers NFL Divisional Round Prediction
The Rams are winless against the spread in their last six meetings with the Packers, while the favorite in this series has cashed in nine of the previous 10 matchups. The Packers are also 6-2 against the spread in their last eight playoff games, are 10-4 against the number in their last 14 games versus a team with a winning record and they’ve covered in seven of their last 10 games as a home favorite. No quarterback is hotter than Aaron Rodgers right now and perhaps no team is hotter than the Packers, so lay the points.
