Carolina Panthers DFS Spin
Teddy Bridgewater completed 21-of-35 passes for 258 yards, adding 26 rushing yards and a touchdown, in the Panthers’ 24-16 Week 15 loss to the Packers. Bridgewater has produced significant mental lapses in two straight games that directed led to his team’s loss. In Week 14, Bridgewater needlessly hurried his offense to run a play on 3rd-down before the two-minute warning, basically wasting an important opportunity. Tonight, Bridgewater fumbled on the goal line while attempting to reach the ball over the plane. He also fumbled again later on inside the five-yard line, but the play ultimately did not count. Bridgewater simply is not skilled enough to mask earlier mistakes, and is now 0-for-8 on the season in game-winning drive scenarios. His play likely points to the team looking in a different direction when considering their future at the position.
Washington Football Team DFS Spin
The Football Team fined Dwayne Haskins $40,000 for violating COVID-19 protocols. It turned out to be a pricey trip to the club for Haskins, who loses about half a game check for violating COVID protocols. Haskins, who took first team snaps at Wednesday’s practice, was also stripped of his captain title for his transgression. He could be under center once again this week against Carolina if Alex Smith (calf) is inactive. Smith would need to practice on Friday — at the minimum — to have a chance to play.
