Broncos vs. Bengals Prediction
Will the Bengals hand the Broncos their first loss of the season when the two teams square off at 1:00PM ET on Sunday?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Bengals are now 3.5-point home favorites versus the Broncos after opening as a 3-point fave. As for the total, the number opened at 41 but has been bet up to 41.5 at the majority of online and Vegas sports books.
The Broncos are a perfect 5-0 against the spread in their last five games played in the month of September and are a near-perfect 4-0-1 against the number in their last five games overall. They’re also 5-1 ATS in their last six games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game.
The Bengals are 13-4-2 against the spread in their last 19 games overall and are 26-10-2 at the betting window in their last 38 games played in September. They’re 10-4-1 against the number in their last 15 games versus AFC opponents and are 10-1 against the spread in their last 11 games played in Week 3 as well.
OUR PREDICTION: The Broncos have had a rough go of it trying to cover against the Bengals, as they’re 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games versus Cincinnati. Trevor Siemian has done a fine job leading the Broncos to a 2-0 record but coach Gary Kubiak said that the signal-caller is also still adjusting to the speed of the game. Siemian has three interceptions through two games and if he continues to turn the ball over today the Bengals are going to win their home-opener. In fact, bank on Siemian losing the first road start of his career.
