According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Bears are now a 3-point home favorite over the Eagles while the over/under currently sits at 42.5 points. Who does the public like in this matchup?
As of this writing, the public is siding with the Eagles at just over 55%. Seeing as how the point spread moved in favor of the Bears, perhaps more tickets are on Philadelphia but more money is on Chicago. It would make sense that more public bettors are taking the Eagles after their impressive showing versus the Browns in Week 1, contrasted with the Bears looking helpless in the second half versus the Texans.

What does the injury report look like for the Eagles?
Not good. Tight end Zach Ertz has been ruled out tonight due to a ribs injury, making Trey Burton a streaming option for you fantasy owners that need a tight end. Cornerback Leodis McKelvin (hamstring) has also been ruled out, leaving the Eagles with just three active cornerbacks for tonight’s game.
What does the injury report look like for the Bears?
Relatively good. Guard Kyle Long says he’ll be able to play through his shoulder injury, which is great news for the Bears if that’s true. He and Josh Sitton combine to make one of the better starting guard tandems in the NFL when both are healthy and playing at their best. Protecting Jay Cutler, however, as a huge issue all of 2015 and in the Week 1 opener versus the Texans, too. Cornerback Kyle Fuller is questionable with a knee injury and so is safety Deon Bush, although he’s dealing with a hamstring problem.
NFL WEEK 2 PREDICTION: For as well as Wentz played in his NFL debut last week, that was at home against a Browns defense that melted down again in Week 2 versus the Ravens. Now Wentz goes on the road for the first time on national television and the jitters could be high. Even if Wentz plays well, Philadelphia is banged up on both sides of the ball and one more injury to the cornerback position and the Eagles are in big trouble. The Bears are 4-1 against the spread in their last five Monday night games while the Eagles are just 5-12-1 ATS in their last 18 games in September.
