NFL Week 15 Injury Report

Which players will be forced to sit out in Week 15 of the NFL Season due to injuries? Here’s a look at the biggest names on this week’s report.

The biggest name on the Injury Report today is someone who isn’t actually injured, but returning from injury. Green Bay gets quarterback Aaron Rodgers back from IR after he broke his clavicle early in Week 6. Rodgers is expected to suit up and be the starting quarterback when Green Bay goes on the road to face the Carolina Panthers at 1PM ET. Oddsmakers are listing the Packers as a 3-point underdog in Carolina. Green Bay is 7-6 on the season and hoping to win its last three games to make the playoffs. This season, Rodgers has thrown for 1,385 yards and 13 touchdowns with just three interceptions. Brett Hundley threw for 1,534 yards with eight touchdowns and eight interceptions in his absence.

The other biggest name on the injury report today is Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette, who will sit out today’s 1PM ET contest at home with the Houston Texans due to a quad injury. Oddsmakers are still listing Jacksonville as a 10.5-point favorite at home against Houston in a big game for the Jags as they hope to win the AFC South this season. Fournette has battled some injuries late this season and also was suspended for a game this year. He still has run for 923 yards and eight touchdowns to lead the Jacksonville offense. Jacksonville will turn to Chris Ivory in his place. Ivory has rushed for 340 yards on 95 carries and one score this year.

Another big running back on the injury report is Alvin Kamara of the New Orleans Saints. He was forced to leave last week’s loss to the Atlanta in the first quarter due to a concussion, but he has cleared protocol and will suit up today when the Saints host the New York Jets at 1PM ET. Oddsmakers are listing the Saints as a 16.5-point favorite in this game. Having Kamara certainly helps the Saints. The rookie has rushed for 608 yards and seven touchdowns on just 87 carries while also catching 62 passes for 639 yards and four more touchdowns.
