How many games will the Los Angeles Chargers win in 2017? Could they be a surprise team this season?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Chargers have an over/under of 7.5 for number of wins in 2017. The Bolts are also a 50/1 long shot to win the Super Bowl this season and are 28/1 to win the AFC Conference Championship. Finally, Los Angeles is 7/2 to win the AFC West Division this upcoming NFL season.

The Chargers had a relatively quiet offseason, signing left tackle Russell Okung, formerly of the Broncos, to a four-year, $53 million contract with $25 million guaranteed. The team added running back Kenjon Barner from the Eagles and re-signed both Branden Oliver and backup quarterback Kellen Clemens.
In the draft, the Chargers selected former Clemson receiver Mike Williams with the seventh overall pick. Due to a back problem, Williams might not make his debut until October, however. The Bolts also took another hit with second-round pick Forrest Lamp, who is out for the season after tearing his ACL in early August.

Our Prediction: The Chargers’ rash of offseason injuries scare me a bit, but I still like the over. The team’s schedule isn’t that daunting, their offense is loaded with underrated talent, they have a top-10 quarterback and an ascending defense. Granted, the Chargers play in a difficult division but the team can hold its own. I think the Bolts are flying under the radar.
