Baltimore Ravens Game Notes
Ravens placed Dez Bryant on the reserve/COVID-19 list. The saga continues. Two days after Bryant was hurried off the field just before kickoff against Dallas, and on the same day Bryant claimed on Twitter that he had tested negative for the virus a couple times, he winds up on the COVID list. The disgruntled veteran didn’t practice Thursday, and now it’s clear why. The chances of Bryant playing another game this season are exceedingly small. Willie Snead, meanwhile, was removed from the COVID list on Thursday.
Cleveland Browns Game Notes
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Browns TE Austin Hooper (neck) is not expected to play in Week 14 against the Ravens. An extra day of rest wasn’t enough to get Hooper healthy in time for Cleveland’s Week 14 matchup with the Ravens on Monday night. Because it’s a Monday night game, that also means Hooper would be facing a short turnaround until his Week 15 contest if he did play. The Browns are choosing to rest him instead, leaving Harrison Bryant as the presumed starter. Given Cleveland’s run-first approach, Bryant is nothing more than a TE2 this week.
Ravens vs. Browns Over/Under Prediction
The under is 6-2 in the last eight meetings between these two teams and is 8-2 in the Ravens’ last 10 conference games. The under has also cashed in four of Baltimore’s last five road games when facing an opponent with a winning home record and is 6-2 in the Ravens’ last eight road games.
On the other side, the under is 41-16-3 in the Browns’ last 60 games played in the month of December, is 10-4 in their last 14 games as an underdog and is 19-7 in their last 26 games as a home dog. The under has also cashed in 20 of Cleveland’s last 29 games after allowing more than 30 points in its previous game.
