Jaguars coach Doug Marrone said Mike Glennon will start Week 17 against the Colts. The Jaguars are sticking with journeyman Glennon for another game. Glennon has lost all four of his starts this year with a 39.6 QBR and 5:5 TD/INT ratio. Jacksonville has already locked up the No. 1 overall pick. They can knock the Colts out of the playoffs with a win in Week 17.

Philip Rivers completed 22-of-35 passes for 270 yards, one touchdown, and one pick in Indianapolis’ 28-24 Week 16 loss to Pittsburgh. Any mistakes Rivers made can be chalked up to the veteran holding onto the ball for far too long with a third-string left tackle on his blindside. He drove the ball without hesitation in the first half, completing 9-of-12 passes for 153 yards and a 42-yard strike to Zach Pascal, but stayed under duress over the final two quarters as the Steelers responded with 21 unanswered points and 7.2 yards per play. With this loss, the Colts need to beat the Jaguars and have any of Baltimore, Miami, or Cleveland lose in Week 17 to sneak into the Wild Card round. It’s a massive fall from grace for a team that had been clicking on all cylinders with three consecutive wins prior to Sunday.
Jaguars vs. Colts Betting Prediction
The Jaguars are a staggering 9-1-1 against the spread in their last 11 meetings with the Colts, which includes their upset win in Week 1. The Jags are also 3-1-1 against the spread in their last five trips to Indianapolis, while the underdog in this series is also 3-1-1 against the number in the last five series meetings.
The Colts, meanwhile, are just 4-9 against the spread in their last 13 conference games, are 2-5 against the number in their last seven divisional games and have dropped four of their last five games ATS when playing at home. Indianapolis should still win today, but covering will be another matter.
