Deflate-Gate to dominate SB XLIX?

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, the over/under of how many times Deflate-Gate and the deflated balls scandal of the New England Patriots will be mentioned during the Super Bowl XLIX broadcast is at 3. The over has a money line of -140, while the under has an even line of +100. Super Bowl XLIX will be played on Sunday, Feb. 1 from University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona at 6:30PM ET.
Deflate-Gate was the hot story last week and it pertains to the NFL investigating the New England Patriots following the AFC Championship and complaints that their footballs were under inflated for the game with the Colts. After the investigation was concluded, the NFL found that 11 of the 12 balls used were in fact under inflated.

The Patriots have tried to move on from the idea that this is a big conspiracy and are simply saying it was not a big deal and something nobody knew about. The Seahawks certainly aren’t being quiet about it and it will certainly be a topic of conversation on the broadcast. Just how much is the question. The topic has been so hot, it earned the “Deflate-Gate” moniker, which may make it easier to bring up on the broadcast, even as a joke.
