The Indianapolis Colts haven’t needed much from Donald Brown this season, but could the backup be a surprise breakout start for Super Bowl XLIV?
Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com have complied prop wagers on Donald Brown for Super Bowl Sunday, which covers Brown’s rushing attempts, rushing yardage, receptions, and receiving yards.
Brown hasn’t been a key part of the Colts offense this season, but he has seen action in all but five games this season, and in those DNP’s, part of it was due to injury. On the year, Brown has rushed for 281 yards on 78 carries while catching 11 passes for 169 yards. He has three rushing touchdowns and no receiving scores.
In the playoffs, Brown has seen six carries each contest for a total of 28 yards and no scores. He also has two receptions for 15 yards combined in the two games.
In just three games during the regular season, Brown failed to eclipse 20.5 yards rushing, making the over in that bet intriguing. The key will be how effective
