The Cowboys have won four straight and are only laying 3.5 points to a Patriots team that has yet to win a home game this season. Is Dallas a safe bet to cover today or is there a better play on the board?

Dallas Cowboys DFS Spin
Dak Prescott completed 14-of-22 passes for 188 yards and four touchdowns in Dallas’ 36-28 Week 4 win over the Panthers. Touted as the league’s best defense despite opening against a cupcake schedule in their first three games, Prescott and Dallas’ offense silenced Carolina’s defense with 433 yards and 7.7 yards per play, finishing with a squeaky clean box score with zero sacks taken and no turnovers. The Cowboys moved the ball at will without CeeDee Lamb (2/13) making a significant impact, calling manufactured plays for Dalton Schultz (5/50/1) while getting 204 combined rushing yards from Ezekiel Elliott (19/142/1) and Tony Pollard (9/62). Amari Cooper also beat C.J. Henderson one-on-one for a 35-yard touchdown following a perfectly placed ball dime Prescott in the third. The only downside to Dallas’ passing offense at this time is the fact Prescott hasn’t been asked or needed to throw more than 27 attempts in three consecutive games. Even so, he’ll stay a top-five option in next week’s soft matchup against the Giants.
New England Patriots DFS Spin
Mac Jones completed 23-of-30 passes for 231 yards with a touchdown and an interception in New England’s 25-22 Week 5 win over the Texans. Jones didn’t complete any passes beyond 20 yards as the backup offensive linemen helped force the Patriots into a quick passing game. They found the most success over the middle, with 142 of Jones’ 231 yards picked up there. Jones won’t be a recommended start against a Cowboys pass defense that has been extremely stingy so far this year.
Cowboys vs. Patriots Betting Prediction
The road team has covered in four straight meetings between these two teams, while the Cowboys are 5-0 against the number this season. Dallas is also 4-1 against the number in its last five games when facing an opponent with a losing record and is 5-1 ATS in its last six games coming off a win. On the other side, the Patritos are just 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous game and are 2-10-1 ATS in their last 13 games following a win.
