Washington Commanders DFS Spin
Chase Young (neck) was upgraded to a full-participant for Thursday’s practice. This is the first time Young has been a full-participant in practice since he injured his neck in the first game of the preseason. He was a limited participant in last week’s practices leading up to the season opener against the Cardinals, but was ultimately ruled out more than 24 hours before kickoff. Young being a full-participant in practice would suggest he’s finally been cleared for contact by doctors, giving him a chance to play in Week 2 against the Broncos.
Denver Broncos DFS Spin
Broncos HC Sean Payton said Jerry Jeudy (hamstring) will play in Week 2 against the Commanders. Jeudy logged a full practice on both Thursday and Friday and will be ready to make his 2023 debut when the Broncos host the Commanders in Week 2. Payton also added that he doesn’t believe Jeudy will need to be on a snap count, which means fantasy managers can fire him up as fringe WR3 this weekend. Jeudy’s long-term outlook is closer to a WR2, but we’re taking a cautiously optimistic approach with him this week.

Commanders vs. Broncos Prediction:
Give me Denver. I know their performance last week against the Raiders was eerily similar to most of their games last season, as the defense held up its end of the bargain but Russell Wilson and the offense once again disappointed. That said, I have more faith in Sean Payton fixing the team’s issues than I did Nathaniel Hackett, who is now the OC for the Jets after he was run out of Denver following one season. Meanwhile, the Commanders needed a full 60-minute effort at home last Sunday just to squeak by an Arizona team that could own the No. 1 pick next April. Sam Howell could really struggle against Denver’s defense this afternoon.
