Colts vs. Titans Week 2 Prediction
Fresh off their beat-down of the Browns in Week 1, the Titans will look to improve to 2-0 on the new season when they host AFC South rivals the Colts at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday. Is it worth laying the 3.5 points on the Titans this afternoon?

Indianapolis Colts Fantasy Spin
Colts placed WR Devin Funchess (collarbone) on injured reserve. Funchess will undergo surgery for his broken collarbone this week. It’s a blow to the Colts and GM Chris Ballard —who splashed on Funchess with a one-year, $10 million deal this offseason. Funchss has a chance to be activated later this year if he avoids setbacks. He’s eligible to return in Week 10.
Tennessee Titans Fantasy Spin
Titans DE Cameron Wake was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for Week 1. Wake was harassing Baker Mayfield all afternoon in the Titans’ upset blowout win over the Browns. In the process, Wake was destroying RT Chris Hubbard before then going to work on fill-in RT Justin McCray. In all, Wake finished the day with 2.5 sacks and five combined hits and hurries on Mayfield. Already 37 years old, Wake looks like he could do this forever.
NFL Betting Trends
Indianapolis
The Colts are 7-1 against the spread in their last eight games versus an opponent with a winning record and are 4-1-1 ATS in their last six divisional games.
Tennessee
The Titans have covered the spread in seven of their last 10 games versus AFC South opponents and are 13-6-1 ATS in their last 20 home games.
Prediction
This a letdown spot for the Titans, who looked great a week ago in Cleveland but clearly they were pumped up to beat the over-hyped Browns. Now they return home where they’ll be favored against a Colts team that is traveling for a second straight week and who were written off as soon as Andrew Luck retired. But Indy showed a lot of grit a week ago in L.A. when it rallied to send the Chargers to overtime and who clearly have plenty of talent on the roster to compete. The Colts have covered the spread in 12 of the last 15 meetings between these two teams and are 5-2 against the number in their last seven trips to Nashville. I love getting the hook with the dog.
