Carson Wentz completed 11-of-20 passes for 223 yards and two touchdowns in Indianapolis’ 31-3 Week 6 victory over the Texans. 103 of the 223 yards came on two deep balls: a 51-yard strike to Parris Campbell for a touchdown, and a 52-yard catch by T.Y. Hilton to set up a field goal. Wentz looked comfortable attacking the Cover-2 seams and busted coverages, but continued to look sluggish under pressure. He will be hard sell QB2 as the Colts take on San Francisco in Week 7.
San Francisco 49ers DFS Spin
Jimmy Garoppolo (calf) will start in Week 7 against the Colts. Garoppolo was removed from San Francisco’s final injury report, and with Trey Lance (knee) officially ruled out, will get the nod on Sunday night against Indy. Presumably at full strength post-bye, the only concern for Garoppolo is Santa Clara’s current weather report, projecting strong winds and “flooding rain” throughout play. He can still be used as a bye-week filler in deeper leagues if desperate.
