Chris Godwin Super Bowl 55 Player Prop Predictions
Godwin has been inconsistent this postseason, sometimes alternating mindboggling catches with dropped passes that Tom Brady puts right in his hands. He finished with five receptions for 110 yards in the Bucs’ NFC Championship Game victory over the Packers, but he should have finished with three or four more receptions had it not been for multiple drops and errant passes by Brady.
Godwin also torched the Chiefs in the first matchup between these two teams back in Week 12. He caught 8-of-9 passes for 97 yards, with five catches for 80 yards out of the slot alone. One of those receptions out of the slot turned into a 44-yard touchdown.
He also has a 40-yard reception in four of his past eight games, with a 27-yard reception mark or higher in four of his past five games as well. Thus, I’ll be taking several overs when it comes to Godwin’s props on Super Bowl Sunday.
