Chiefs vs. Dolphins Week 14 Prediction
With the top seed in the AFC still up for grabs, Andy Reid and the Chiefs will take on the Dolphins at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday. Will Miami hang as a 7-point home dog or is Kansas City a better bet to roll in South Beach?

Kansas City Chiefs DFS Spin
Patrick Mahomes completed 25-of-40 passes for 318 yards and a touchdown in Kansas City’s Week 13 win over the Broncos. Mahomes outlasted the Broncos in a closer than expected game. This was the second time Denver has held Mahomes in check after limiting him to 200 yards and a touchdown when they met earlier this year. Mahomes had two touchdowns to Tyreek Hill taken off the board, one for holding and the other on a catch the Chiefs didn’t challenge. The lack of touchdowns were offset with another 300 yard game, his eighth of the season. The Chiefs are heavy road favorites in Week 14, but Mahomes has a lower ceiling against a Dolphins secondary that’s given up the second fewest passing touchdowns.
Miami Dolphins DFS Spin
Tua Tagovailoa completed 26-of-39 passes for 296 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins Week 13 win over the Bengals. Tagovailoa struggled in the first half of the game, routinely missing throws and only taking what the defense gave him. He entered the week with a thumb injury and wasn’t guaranteed to suit up versus Cincinnati. Tagovailoa didn’t complete any of his three attempts of 10 yards or more downfield in the first half. He came out looking in rhythm in the second half and keyed in on Mike Gesicki’s matchup versus the Cincinnati linebackers. The Miami offense is undoubtedly less exciting with Tagovailoa under center instead of Ryan Fitzpatrick but he has seven scores without an interception on the year. Week 13 will be a great test for Tagovailoa as he’ll be pitted against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. He’ll be a solid streaming option as a high-end QB2 in a presumed shootout with Kansas City.

The Chiefs are winless against the spread in their last four games, are 0-4 against the number in their last four games as a favorite and are 0-4 at the betting window in their last four games coming off a win. Meanwhile, the Dolphins have covered four straight games at home, are 6-1 against the spread in their last seven conference gaems and are 5-1 against the number in their last six games as an underdog. Miami has also covered in four of its last five games as a home dog.
