Tom Brady Super Bowl 55 Player Prop Predictions
Predicting game script is vital when it comes to betting player props for the Super Bowl (or any game, for that matter). Correctly predict how a team attacks an opponent and you’ve got a good shot of nailing some of the bigger player props for that game.
In the case of the Bucs and Super Bowl 55, I envision Bruce Arians and Co. putting the ball in Leonard Fournette’s hands early and often. If they can establish the run, they’ll have a good chance to sustain drives, eat clock and most importantly, keep Patrick Mahomes and the dynamic Chiefs’ offense on the sidelines for long stretches. That’s not to suggest that the Bucs can’t get into a shootout and win, as their passing attack is equally impressive. But when it comes to giving themselves their best shot to walk off their home field with a win tonight, running the ball effectively will be key.
If I’m right and the Bucs do run the ball – and not just run the ball, but run the ball effectively – then the under should be a solid play when it comes to Brady’s top prop plays. If this winds up being a shootout, then Brady likely will eclipse his prop totals, but I feel good about how Tampa will attack KC on Sunday. The only over I like when it comes to Brady is his completions, as he figures to throw the ball short plenty.
Brady Passing Yards: Under 295.5
Brady Pass Attempts: Under 39.5
Brady Pass Completions: Over 24.5
