Bengals vs. Raiders Week 11 Prediction

The winless Bengals will travel to Oakland on Sunday to take on a Raiders team that is surprisingly in the hunt for a playoff spot in the AFC. Will Oakland roll while covering as a heavy favorite today or is there value in Cincinnati?

Game Snapshot

471 Cincinnati Bengals (+11) at 472 Oakland Raiders (-11); O/U 48.5

4:25 p.m. ET, Sunday, November 17, 2019

RingCentral Coliseum, Oakland, CA

Public Betting Trends

According to our NFL Football Public Betting Chart page, the Raiders are receiving 62% of the betting tickets from online sportsbooks.

Cincinnati Bengals Fantasy Spin

A.J. Green (ankle) is out for Week 11 against the Raiders. Bengals coach Zac Taylor said the swelling in Green’s left ankle has gone down, but admitted he’s still not ready to resume practicing. Cincinnati has been reluctant to shut Green down, though his return does not appear imminent. The Bengals promoted WR Damion Willis from their practice squad Friday, suggesting Alex Erickson (back) could also be in danger of missing Sunday’s game in Oakland.

Oakland Raiders Fantasy Spin

Josh Jacobs rushed 16 times for 71 yards and a touchdown in the Raiders’ Week 10 win over the Chargers, adding three receptions for 30 additional yards. Jacobs’ volume felt down for most of the evening, but it was only because the Chargers were dominating time of possession. He ended up touching the ball on 20-of-55 plays, a massive number. None was bigger than Jacobs’ game-winning 18-yard touchdown with 1:02 remaining. Jacobs was practically untouched as he shot like a cannonball through the hole. The score was especially sweet since Jacobs had barely been involved in the Raiders’ hurry-up offense, frustratingly ceding snaps to Jalen Richard. Despite that, Jacobs’ 30 receiving yards were his most of the season. Jacobs has 10 days to rest up for a smash spot in the Bengals.

NFL Betting Trends

Cincinnati

The Bengals are 7-2 against the spread in their last nine road games and have covered in 15 of their last 22 conference games.

Oakland

The Raiders have covered in seven of their last eight home games and are 5-1 against the number in their last six games overall.

Prediction

In what should be a high-scoring game, I’m taking the underdog. The Raiders will score plenty, but the Bengals have an opportunity to take apart an Oakland pass defense that is incredibly banged-up at the moment. Rookie Ryan Finley struggled mightily last week, but it was his first NFL start and it came against a Ravens secondary that is shaping up as one of the league’s best. Finley could still struggle and pick up plenty of yards through the air, even without Green. The Bengals are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games versus the Raiders.

NFL Week 11 Prediction: Cincinnati Bengals +13
