Rams vs. Redskins Odds
Fresh off a big win last week, can the St. Louis Rams put two together when they hit the road on Sunday to face the Washington Redskins at 1PM ET on FOX.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, the Rams are favored to win this game, as they are getting odds of -3.5 points against the Redskins. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 41 points. The Rams have won three of their last four against Washington and the Rams are 6-1 against the spread in their last seven against the Redskins.
St. Louis had one of the biggest wins in Week 1, beating the Seahawks at home, 34-31 in OT. The Rams were a 3.5-point underdog entering the game and they went over the 41.5-point total. St. Louis managed to win despite losing the turnovers battle 3-1. The St. Louis defense had pressure on the Seahawks all game, creating six sacks while holding Seattle to 343 yards of offense. Aaron Donald led the defensive effort with nine tackles, two sacks and three tackles for loss. Nick Foles had a promising debut with the team at quarterback as he threw for 297 yards and one score.
The Redskins started the year with a 17-10 loss at home to the Dolphins. Washington was a 4-point underdog for the game and it went under the 45.5-point total. The Skins had a 349-256 edge in total yards, but they committed two key turnovers and allowed the game-winning score in the fourth quarter on a punt return. Kirk Cousins was 21 of 31 passing for 196 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions while Alfred Morris rushed for 121 yards on 25 carries.
