Jaguars vs. Patriots Odds
The New England Patriots look to go into the bye week with a 3-0 start on Sunday when they host the Jacksonville Jaguars at 1PM ET on CBS.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, the Patriots are a heavy favorite at home, as they are getting odds of -13.5 points against the Jaguars tonight. The over/under total for the game has been set at 47.5 points. The Pats have won six straight games against the Jaguars, going 4-2 against the spread in those games.
New England is 2-0 on the season, 1-1 against the spread and 1-1 with the over/under total. The Pats are rolling thus far, beating the Steelers 28-21 at home in the opener and then beating the Bills 40-32 last week on the road. The Patriots are posting 445 yards per game thus far, but also allowing 443.5 yards per game. Tom Brady has thrown for 754 yards and seven touchdowns to start the season while Rob Gronkowski has 12 catches for 207 yards and four scores. Dion Lewis has added 10 catches for 149 yards while rushing for 109 yards and a touchdown.
Jacksonville is 1-1 on the season, 1-1 against the spread and 1-1 with the over/under total. After suffering a 20-9 loss at home to the Panthers in the opener, Jacksonville upset Miami last week at home, 23-20. The Jags are posting just 337.5 yards per game on offense, but holding opponents to only 340.5 yards per contest. Blake Bortles has started his second season with 456 passing yards and three touchdowns while Allen Robinson has seven catches for 182 yards with two scores. Rookie running back T.J. Yeldon has rushed for a team-high 121 yards in two games.
