Patriots vs. Bills Odds
It’s only the second week, but there is already a big-game feel on Sunday when the Buffalo Bills host the New England Patriots at 1PM ET on CBS.
According to oddsmakers at GTBets, New England is a slight favorite on the road in this game, as the Patriots are getting odds of -1 point against the Bills on Sunday. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 45 points. The Patriots are 9-2 against the spread in their last 11 trips to Buffalo and these two have hit the over in 6 of their last 8 meetings.
The Patriots opened the season with a 28-21 win at home over the Steelers in the NFL opener. New England didn’t cover the 7.5-point spread and it went under the 51-point total. The Pats actually gave up 464 yards to the Steelers and had just 361 yards of their own, but still found a way to win. Tom Brady had 288 passing yards with four touchdowns to lead the offense while Rob Gronkowski caught five passes for 94 yards with three scores. Dion Lewis ended up with 69 rushing yards on 15 carries and also caught four passes for 51 yards.
Buffalo won its season opener, picking up a 27-14 win over the Colts at home. The Bills were a 1-point underdog in the contest and they went under the total of 44.5 points. Buffalo was impressive in the win, totaling 342 total yards while holding the explosive Indy offense to just 304 total yards. They also did that without Marcel Dareus, who was serving a 1-game suspension. Tyrod Taylor made his first start for Buffalo and had 195 passing yards with one touchdown while also rushing for 41 yards. LeSean McCoy was somewhat quiet with just 41 rushing yards on 17 carries. Nigel Bradham led the Buffalo defense with eight tackles and a sack.
