Colts vs. Ravens Prediction
Will the Baltimore Ravens cover the point spread as a large home favorite on Saturday when they host the Indianapolis Colts at 4:30 p.m. ET?
Who Oddsmakers Like: Baltimore. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Ravens are 13.5-point home favorites to beat the Colts, who opened as 12.5-point underdogs earlier in the week. The total, meanwhile, sits at 41 points after hitting the board at that same number.
Who the Public Likes: Baltimore. As of Saturday morning, 59% of the betting tickets are on the Ravens to cover the spread and 54% of the money is also on Baltimore.
Who the Trends Like: The under is 10-1 in the last 11 meetings between these two teams and is 5-1 in the last six meetings in Baltimore. The Colts, meanwhile, are 9-1 against the spread in their last 10 games versus the Ravens and have covered the spread in five of their last six games in Baltimore.
Who We Like: The under is 10-1 in the last 11 meetings between these two teams and is 5-1 in the last six meetings in Baltimore. The Colts have also covered the spread in nine of their last 10 games versus the Ravens and are 5-1 against the number in their last six games in Baltimore.
Who We Like: Baltimore. At some point “Joe Public” is going to take one on the chin after cashing favorites week after week in the NFL. In fact, I believe it’ll be this weekend that underdogs cash big. Still, I can’t back the dog in the first game of Week 16.
The Colts haven’t scored more than 17 points in a game since November at Houston. They’ll face a Baltimore defense today that has produced five defensive touchdowns and has forced 33 takeaways during that span. Good luck, Jacoby Brisett.
On the other side, the Ravens are averaging 30.2 points during their past seven games and Joe Flacco has had his best statistical games over the past three weeks. Alex Collins has also been a monster.
