PHOENIX (AP) – Arizona State took control of the Pac-12 South Division by beating Southern California.
The North Division will likely come down to the Nov. 12 meeting between No. 6 Stanford and No. 9 Oregon.
The races are far from over, though. There’s still plenty of chances to slip up and plenty of teams still with a chance.
No. 22 Arizona State has Utah and Oregon up next in consecutive road games. The Ducks have to face improving Cal before Stanford and the Cardinal have to play at USC.
Washington is 2-0 and still has a shot at the North title and Washington State is 1-0. UCLA, at 1-1, isn’t out of the South race, either.
