STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -Left tackle Trinton Sturdivant has left No. 13 Georgia’s game against ninth-ranked Oklahoma State with a left knee injury, and he is not expected to return.
Sturdivant missed all of last season after tearing multiple ligaments in the same knee during a preseason scrimmage.
He was hurt on a running play to his side of the field in the third quarter and had to be helped to the sideline. The team’s medical staff then spent several minutes working on his left knee before.
Sturdivant started all 13 of Georgia’s games as a freshman in 2007 and was considered the team’s top lineman before he was hurt last season.
