FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) – Lightning has delayed No. 21 Arkansas’ game against Mississippi on in the third quarter on Saturday.
The Razorbacks were leading 24-10 and preparing to punt when officials interrupted the game with 5:06 remaining in the quarter. Both teams were directed to their locker rooms with a line of storms approaching from the southwest.
Arkansas took a 21-3 lead in the second quarter after Joe Adams returned a punt 97 yards for a touchdown. The return set a school record, breaking the previous mark of 95 yards set by Ken Hatfield against Tulsa in 1965.
