COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) – Heavily favored against Idaho on Saturday, No. 9 Texas A&M might be tempted to slack off this week.
But with No. 8 Oklahoma State up next, the Aggies know they’ve got to take advantage of a chance to fine tune their game before beginning the grind of Big 12 play.
Quarterback Ryan Tannehill says he wants the team to be “running at a high level” entering next week and that he wants to build on what the Aggies did in their opening win against SMU.
Idaho coach Robb Akey raved about A&M and believes that facing such tough competition will make his team better.
