According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Aggies are 7-point favorites versus the Volunteers after Tennessee opened as a 6.5-point underdog. As for the total, the number opened at 56 but has been bet down a half-point to 55.5.

The Volunteers remained unbeaten on the season with a dramatic 34-31 victory at Georgia last Saturday in which they needed a Hail Mary completion in the waning seconds. Quarterback Joshua Dobbs chucked a desperation pass to the end zone with the seconds ticking off the clock and Jauan Jennings came down with the 43-yard reception as time ran out. Tennessee is now 5-0 on the year but just 2-3 against the spread after failing to cover the 3.5-point spread versus UGA.
The Aggies also enter play this week unbeaten after knocking off South Carolina 24-13 as a 19.5-point favorite last week. Texas A&M is now 5-0 straight up and 4-1 against the spread, with its lone failed cover coming in that win over the Gamecocks. Trevor Knight was 23-of-40 passing for 206 yards and one interception in the win. He also added 12 rushes for 84 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
