Injury Report

The big injury everyone will focus on before Friday is the status of Bryce Love. The Stanford running back is probable with an ankle injury so the Cardinal’s will have their star player. Defensive end Eric Cotton (foot) is out, while cornerback Terrence Alexander (forearm) is questionable. Linebacker Sean Barton (knee) is out for the year.

The Trojans, meanwhile, will have defensive tackle Rasheem Green (shoulder) is probable. Guard Viane Talamaivao (pectoral) is out for the year while Porter Gustin (biceps) is out with a biceps injury.

OUR PREDICTION: In the last 23 games between these two teams, the over is 16-7. The over is also 5-1 in the Cardinal’s last six neutral site games. Meanwhile, the over has cashed in five of the Trojans’ last six games overall, is 4-1-1 in their last six neutral site games and is 4-1 in their last five conference games.

Stanford is coming off a 38-point effort against Notre Dame while USC has scored at least 28 points in four straight games. If both teams can get into the 20s then I like the over to eventually hit.
