West Virginia is coming off a 38-14 loss at home to Iowa State this past weekend for a second straight loss. The Mountaineers are now 3-3 on the season, 1-2 in the Big 12, 2-3-1 against the spread and 3-3 with the over/under total.
WVU has struggled on offense this year, averaging 24.2 points and 326.2 yards per game. Defensively, the Mountaineers are giving up 30.3 points and 383.8 yards per contest. The team has a big concern this week as QB Austin Kendall is dealing with a chest injury and questionable to play on Saturday. Kendall has thrown for 1,247 yards and nine touchdowns this year. Sam James is the leading receiver with 37 catches and 359 yards and two touchdowns. Kennedy McKoy is the team’s leading rusher with 187 yards and three scores.

After an emotional win over Texas, there is a chance for a letdown from the Sooners this week. However, Oklahoma will be at home and facing a bad WVU defense. The Sooners should be able to run right through this defense. West Virginia also could be without their starting quarterback, making it very difficult for the Mountaineers to keep any pace with this Oklahoma offense.
