UCF Knights Game Notes
UCF quarterback Dillon Gabriel went 23-for-36 passing on Saturday against Bethune-Cookman, throwing for two touchdowns and 312 yards. Dillon Gabriel (6’0/200) had himself a day against the Wildcats, throwing for two scores while rushing for another touchdown on two carries for 43 yards. Gabriel has now started the season with back-to-back 300-yard passing games, after throwing for 318/4 against Boise State in Week 1. UCF travels to Louisville for a Friday night tilt in Week 3.
Louisville Cardinals Game Notes
Micale Cunningham completed 15-of-23 passes on Saturday for 277 yards and a touchdown as the Cardinals defeated the Eastern Kentucky Colonels 30-3. In addition to his solid day through the air, Micale Cunningham (6’1/200) rushed 11 times for 29 yards and scored twice against the Colonels. This will hopefully serve as a confidence booster for Cunningham, who struggled in Week 1 in a loss to Ole Miss. The Cardinals face the UCF Knights in Week 3 on a Friday night tilt.
