UCF Knights Game Notes
According to Football Scoop, UCF co-OC Anthony Tucker is expected to be the next offensive coordinator at Utah State. Blake Anderson hasn’t officially been named the next head coach at Utah State, but it has already been reported by multiple outlets that he is the man after resigning as Arkansas State head coach. He’s already begun to assemble his coaching staff, and adding Tucker to the mix is big news for Utah State. The two have history together, as Tucker was the running backs coach at Arkansas State during the 2013, 2014 and 2015 seasons before taking on the same role at Maryland.
BYU Cougars Game Notes
BYU redshirt sophomore RB Tyler Allgeier (undisclosed) could be available to play in the Cougars’ bowl game. Allgeier, who rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown in BYU’s December 5 loss to Coastal Carolina, has hit the 100-yard mark in each of his last three appearances.
