Johnny Ford had a huge game on the ground with seven receptions for 164 yards and three TDs. Jordan Cronkrite had 16 rushes for 103 yards. Randall St. Felix made two catches for 123 yards and a touchdown. Mekhi LaPointe had 11 tackles to pace the defense, while Nick Roberts added 10 stops.
Cougars race past Navy
Houston rolled to a 49-36 victory at Navy to improve to 7-1 on the season. D’Eriq King finished 25-of-38 through the air for 413 yards and three touchdowns, while he also rushed seven times for 56 yards and a TD. Patrick Carr had seven rushes for 45 yards and a touchdown. Marquez Stevenson rushed twice for 13 yards and a touchdown, while he also led receivers with eight catches for 141 yards. Courtney Lark had five catches for 106 and a score. Keith Corbin made six receptions for 104 yards and a TD. Romello Brooker added a 14-yard TD reception. Austin Robinson racked up 21 tackles defensively.
