Ole Miss Rebels Game Notes
Ole Miss HC Lane Kiffin said the team has been hit by a number of new COVID related absences. Kiffin didn’t give an exact number, but confirmed the breakout by stating “We’ve got a number of guys out. It’s very difficult moving people around, and we’re beat up, too, from a very intense game versus a great team Saturday.” The SEC is starting to get hit with a large number of cases, as Florida announced 19 new positives this week as well. Kiffin had a dire tone to his voice, stating “We are not in a great situation, numbers-wise, at all.” Mississippi’s game against Arkansas this Saturday is now very much in danger of being postponed.
Arkansas Razorbacks Game Notes
Arkansas redshirt senior QB Feleipe’ Franks threw for four touchdowns and 302 yards on 21-of-29 passing in a 30-28 loss to Auburn on Saturday. Arkansas probably deserved to win this game, and they’ll look back on this game as a case of missed opportunities; including three times where they didn’t get points after touchdowns. Franks (6’6/228) was excellent, and found three different receivers for his touchdowns, with two going to De’Vion Warren. After struggling against Georgia, the former Florida signal-caller has played well for the Razorbacks, and should give fans in Fayetteville hope for the remainder of the 2020 campaign. He should be able to have another strong passing game next Saturday against Ole Miss.
