Oklahoma State Cowboys Game Notes
Oklahoma State redshirt junior QB Spencer Sanders completed 20-of-30 passes for 347 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions in a 42-3 rout of Baylor on Saturday. All three touchdown passes went to Dillon Stoner as Oklahoma State dominated this game from the opening kick. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound quarterback did throw a pair of picks, but they proved inconsequential as the Bears couldn’t do anything with the football in the blowout loss. Sanders also rushed for 25 yards, and was able to move around the pocket when needed. It was an up-and-down year for Sanders, but he should be back as a veteran starter for the Cowboys in 2021.
Miami Hurricanes Game Notes
Miami redshirt senior QB D’Eriq King will return to the Hurricanes in 2021. King (5’11/202) makes the right call here, as his size and lack of elite arm strength depreciate his NFL Draft stock. The diminutive signal caller threw for 2,573 yards, 8.1 yards per attempt, 22 touchdowns-to-five interceptions, while also rushing for 520 yards and four touchdowns. His arrival in Miami has been a boon for the Hurricanes’ listless offense, as they drastically improved from their woeful 2019 iteration by posting 34 points per game this season. Miami is coming off a very strong recruiting cycle, as The U’s 2021 class currently ranks 11th nationally.
