Stanford-UCLA Odds
After cracking into the top 25 this week, No. 25 Stanford hits the road for the first time this season as it takes on UCLA on Saturday at 10:30PM ET.
Game Preview:
Stanford ended a 5-game losing streak to UCLA last season but the Cardinal have still lost 12 of their last 17 to the Bruins. UCLA has won the last six at home against Stanford with an average winning margin of 12 points.
Stanford kicked off the 2010 season with a 52-17 win over Sacramento State last weekend. The Cardinal didn’t have much challenge as it racked up 529 yards of offense and held the Hornets to just 167 yards. Andrew Luck threw for 316 yards and four touchdowns on 17-of-23 passing while Doug Baldwin caught four passes for 111 yards and two scores.
UCLA opened its season with a tough 31-22 loss to Kansas State last weekend. The Bruins had three turnovers in the game and were held to 313 yards of offense. Kevin Prince struggled, going just 9-for-26 passing for 120 yards with two interceptions. UCLA allowed Kansas State’s Daniel Thomas to rush for 234 yards on 28 carries.

Stanford opened the week as 6.5-point favorites according to oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com. The line dropped to 6 but has come back to 6.5 points. The over/under started at 52 and has since fallen to 51.5.
