Michigan State vs. Rutgers Prediction
No. 11 Michigan State will put its unbeaten record and standing in the top-25 on the line Saturday afternoon at SHI Stadium when it takes on Rutgers at 12:00 p.m. ET. The under has been profitable in previous meetings between the two teams but will that hold true this weekend?

Michigan State Spartans Game Notes
Michigan State redshirt sophomore QB Payton Thorne completed 20-of-30 passes for 327 yards with a touchdown in a 48-31 rout of Western Kentucky on Saturday. This could have been a much bigger game if not for the fact that the Spartans had a 26-point lead at the half. While he only threw for the one touchdown, he was able to move the ball downfield, and he set up three Kenneth Walker touchdowns in the blowout win. Thorne and Sparty are undefeated on the year, and look capable of making some noise in the Big Ten. He’ll have a chance to move to 6-0 on Saturday against Rutgers.
Rutgers Scarlet Knights Game Notes
Rutgers redshirt junior QB Noah Vedral completed 16-of-26 for 152 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions in a 52-13 loss to Ohio State on Saturday. Vedral (6’1/200) had a rough go of it in Piscataway. Unable to get any kind of sustained offense going. They did have some life at the end of the first half, as Vedral completed a 75-yard touchdown pass to Aron Cruickshank, but they were unable to gain any momentum. After two tough losses in the last two weeks, Vedral hopes to get Rutgers back on track against their third straight top 20 opponent in Michigan State Saturday afternoon.
Michigan State vs. Rutgers Week 6 Betting Prediction
