Keller Chryst on schedule for training camp, Stanford 85/1 to win Title

Stanford QB on track for camp

Stanford head coach David Shaw said that quarterback Keller Chryst is “right on schedule” for training camp.

Chryst suffered a severe knee injury during the Cardinal’s Sun Bowl victory over North Carolina at the end of December. But as Shaw stated in a recent ESPN.com article, the Stanford signal-caller should be ready for the start of August camp, barring a setback.

Ryan Burns and K.J. Costello are currently splitting reps in spring practice, while incoming freshman Davis Mills will arrive this summer. Mills is a long-shot to win the starting gig, but he’s a highly touted recruit and considered a gunslinger, so he could be an intriguing name to follow in a few months.

Bet College Football Bowl Games

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, Stanford is an 85/1 long shot to win the college football national championship in 2018. Alabama remains the favorite to win next year’s title at 9/2, while Ohio State is 13/2 and USC, which will be a popular pick based on how the Trojans finished the season last year, is 15/2 to win it all.
