Missouri falling apart
The Missouri football team suffered a third straight loss last weekend with a 27-0 loss at Georgia. The Tigers are now 5-4 on the season and 2-3 in the SEC. They have a 4-5 record against the spread and a 7-2 mark with the under.
Like Georgia, Missouri has a pretty solid defense. The Tigers are allowing just 19.1 points and 287.8 yards per game. Nick Bolton is leading the defense with 75 tackles and two interceptions. Offensively, Missouri is putting up 28.2 points and 402.9 yards per contest. Kelly Bryant has thrown for 1,845 yards and 14 touchdowns while rushing for 205 yards and a touchdown. Bryant missed last week’s game with an injury and is questionable to play today as well. However, reports seem to point toward him giving it a go today. Taylor Powell will play in his place if Bryant can’t go. Powell has thrown for just 192 yards on 21 of 48 passing. Larry Rountree III is the leading rusher with 668 yards and eight touchdowns while Jonathan Nance has 23 receptions for 352 yards and three scores.
Florida hammers Vandy
The Florida football team is coming off a 56-0 win over Vanderbilt last weekend. The Gators are now 8-2 on the season with the win while holding a 5-2 mark in the SEC. They are 6-4 against the spread and 6-4 with the under.
Florida has one of the top defenses in the nation this year, allowing just 15 points and 311.3 yards per game. David Reese II is leading the defense with 77 tackles and two sacks. Offensively, the Gators are putting up 33.3 points and 419.8 yards per contest. Kyle Trask has thrown for 2,011 yards and 19 touchdowns to lead the offense this year. Kyle Pitts is the leading receiver with 42 receptions for 528 yards and five touchdowns. Lamical Perine is the leading rusher with 504 yards and four scores.
College Football Betting Trends
Missouri
The Tigers are 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 games in November, but 0-4 ATS in their last four SEC games.
Florida
The Gators are 11-4 against the spread in their last 15 games following a win and 4-1 ATS in their last five road games.
Prediction:
Missouri has actually won and covered against Florida the last two years. The Tigers have dominated both of those games as well. Florida was able to look really good last week, but the Gators haven’t been able to do a great job of pulling away from opponents prior to that. Missouri is wrapping up a month on the road and returning home, where it has yet to lose. I think the Tigers will be putting up a tough fight and be able to keep this game down to the final possession.
