Riley Leonard passed for 136 yards and one touchdown to go along with 61 rushing yards and three touchdowns in Saturday’s 45-21 victory over Miami. Leonard struggled to find a rhythm in the passing game, completing just 52.0 percent of his passes in the blowout win. In the last two weeks, Leonard has 191 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Leonard is not afraid to lower his shoulder and run into defenders, which he did multiple times on Saturday, including during two of his touchdown runs.
Boston College Eagles Game Notes
Phil Jurkovec was forced out with an undisclosed injury during Saturday’s game against Connecticut, Trevor Hass of The Boston Globe reports. Jurkovec was down on the field for an extended period of time after he was flipped onto the turf during a tackle in the third quarter, though the exact nature of his injury is still unclear. In his stead, Emmett Morehead has stepped in under center for Boston College.
