Rams end win streak
Colorado State had its three-game win streak come to an end last weekend in a 38-21 loss at home to Air Force. The Rams are now 4-6 on the season, 3-3 in the Mountain West Conference, 6-4 against the spread and 6-4 with the under.
The Rams have been pretty solid on offense this year, averaging 30.6 points and 460.5 yards per game. Defensively, Colorado State is giving up 32.6 points and 391.4 yards per contest. Patrick O’Brien has thrown for 2,297 yards and 10 touchdowns this year to lead the offense. Warren Jackson is the team’s leading receiver with 63 catches for 940 yards while Marvin Kinsey Jr. is the leading rusher with 703 yards and six scores.
Wyoming edged again
The Wyoming Cowboys are coming off a 26-21 loss at Utah State last weekend. All four of their losses this season have come by five points or less. Wyoming comes into this game 6-4 on the season, 3-3 in the Mountain West, 6-4 against the spread and 7-3 with the under.
The Cowboys have been led by their defense this season, as they are giving up just 18.7 points and 383 yards per game. Logan Wilson is leading the defense with 80 tackles, three interceptions and one sack. Offensively, Wyoming is putting up 26.9 points and 354.2 yards per outing. The team lost QB Sean Chambers for the season due to a knee injury. He had thrown for 915 yards and seven scores this year. Tyler Vander Waal has filled in and thrown for 429 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions. Xazavian Valladay is the team’s leading rusher with 869 yards and five scores. Chambers was next with 567 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns. Raghib Ismail Jr. is the team’s leading receiver with just 14 catches for 240 yards.
College Football Betting Trends
Colorado State
The Rams have hit the under in eight of their last nine conference games and in eight of their last 11 Friday games.
Wyoming
The Cowboys are 8-1 with the under in their last nine games in November and in 14 of their last 20 games on turf.
Prediction:
These two have hit the over in five of their last seven encounters. Wyoming has managed to lead the way in this series with its defense and I think that will be the situation again this week. The Cowboys have been able to dominate in their wins, allowing 17 or less in all six games. Colorado State doesn’t have the offense to challenge Wyoming on the road, especially in a primetime game. Wyoming isn’t likely to light the scoreboard on fire themselves either, as they still are without one of their best players. I look for the under to hit in this hard-hitting MWC contest.
College Football Week 13 Prediction: Colorado State/Wyoming Under 50.5
