Wisconsin had a big statement win last week, going to East Lansing and beating the defending Big Ten champs, Michigan State 30-6. The Badgers are now 4-0 on the season while hitting the under in three of four games. The Badgers are giving up just 11.8 points and 277 yards per game right now on defense. They are also holding opponents to just 80.5 rushing yards per game. Offensively, Wisconsin is putting up 30.8 points and 410.5 yards per game. The team has turned the ball over to Alex Hornibrook and he has managed things pretty well thus far behind a power running attack. Corey Clement is the leading rusher with 251 yards and five scores while Dare Ogunbowale has 182 yards.
Like Wisconsin, Michigan is rolling right now. The Wolverines opened up Big Ten play with a 49-10 win over Penn State last week to go 4-0 on the season. Michigan has hit the over in all four games and the Wolverines have hit the over in 12 straight games, dating back to Oct. 10 of last season. Also like the Badgers, Michigan has a great defense that is giving up just 13.8 points and 269.8 yards per game. On offense, Michigan is posting 52 points and 467.8 yards per contest. Wilton Speight has thrown for 875 yards and nine touchdowns to lead this offense while De’Veon Smith and Chris Evans have combined for 472 rushing yards and five scores.

Based on what we have seen, it seems Michigan has the better offense, but Wisconsin has the better defense in this game. This should lead to some scoreless possessions on both sides of the ball, but the oddsmakers have set the total awfully low for a team like Michigan that has hit the over in 12 straight. This game could be a defensive battle and still be something like 27-21. It could even be higher-scoring than that. Go with the over here.
