Ohio State has been looking like a title contender thus far, beating Bowling Green 77-10 and Tulsa 48-3. The Buckeyes have hit the over in three of their last four games. Despite the loss of many starters from the 2015 team, the Buckeyes haven’t missed a beat. They are averaging 596.5 yards per game on offense thus far while holding opponents to just 216 yards per game. They have yet to allow an offensive touchdown to their opponents. J.T. Barrett has thrown for 498 yards and six scores while rushing for 85 yards and three more touchdowns. Mike Weber is leading the rushing attack with 228 yards in two games.
Bet on Ohio State vs. Oklahoma
After losing to Houston 33-23 in the opener, the Sooners bounced back with a 59-17 win over UL-Monroe last week. The Sooners have hit the over in seven of their last 10 games. The offense hasn’t been the issues thus far for the Sooners, as they are putting up 516.5 yards per game thanks to the play of Baker Mayfield, who has thrown for 567 yards and five touchdowns in 2016. The problem for Oklahoma is on defense, where it is giving up 380 yards per game.

The total for this game has been set like each team is going to trade score after score. I don’t see that being the case. Ohio State’s defense will likely get beat here and there by the Sooners, but they should be able to get their fair share of stops. Oklahoma put up just 23 against Houston, and Ohio State’s defense is even stronger. The game is at Oklahoma, so the Sooners should be amped up early and pose some challenges for the Ohio State offense as well.
