The Cyclones are 10-4 against the spread in their last 14 games overall, are 5-1 against the number in their last six games when playing a team with a winning record, and have covered the spread in five of their last six games played in the month of October. OUR PREDICTION: Oklahoma isn’t losing this game. The Sooners haven’t lost to Iowa State since a 33-31 defeat back in 1990 and are 45-1-1 in their last 47 games against the Cyclones in Norman. That said, OU also has Texas next week in the Red River Rivalry so I wouldn’t be totally shocked if the Sooners came out a little flat. Iowa State is coming off a rough one against that very same Longhorns team as quarterback Jacob Park was sacked four times and threw three interceptions in the 17-7 loss. Park took a leave of absence from the football program due to “medical concerns” so the Cyclone offense could be out of sync. Still, I like ISU’s defense to keep things relatively close today in Norman.
