Coastal Carolina Chanticleers Game Notes
Coastal Carolina redshirt sophomore Grayson McCall completes 18 of 23 passes for 365 yards and four touchdowns in Coast Carolina’s 52-20 win over Arkansas State. McCall and the Chanticleers came out of the gate with the pedal to the floor. On just the second play in CCU’s first possession, McCall called on his very likely receiving Isaiah Likely for 99 yards. From their own one yard, Arkansas State went all in for the safety by rushing eight, leaving Likely wide open and he went coast to coast untouched. The McCall-Likely connection was on display as they would connect for four touchdowns, including another long one for 64 yards. Coastal was in complete control of this game, they scored the first 31 points before the Red Wolves could respond. They will have their biggest test of the season when they face Appalachian State on October 20th.
Appalachian State Mountaineers Game Notes

Brice (6’3/235) had his share of struggles tonight throwing two interceptions that directly led to 7 points. While he did rush for a touchdown in the second half, it wasn’t enough as the Mountaineers were only able to generate 211 total yards of offense. Appalachian State takes on Coastal Carolina on Wednesday night.
