Cowboys need Dez
No. 16 Oklahoma State has won one game without star receiver Dez Bryant, but the Cowboys may not be able to win another when it hosts Missouri on Saturday at 9:15PM ET from Boone Pickens Stadium.
Bet Missouri at Oklahoma State
Bryant missed last week’s 36-31 win at Texas A&M after being suspended by Oklahoma State for lying to the NCAA about a visit to Deion Sanders’ home. Bryant’s situation is still not resolved, but if it is prior to kickoff, Bryant will be eligible to play. The Cowboys are 4-1 on the year with the lone loss coming at the hands of Houston, 45-35. The Cowboys are 2-2-1 against the spread this year as their offense has been inconsistent. Zac Robinson has thrown for 1,070 yards and eight touchdowns while Keith Toston has rushed for 410 yards and four scores. Bryant has led the receiving corp. with 17 catches for 323 yards in just three games. Defensively, the Cowboys are allowing 23.2 points and 357.6 yards per-game.
Missouri is coming off its first loss of the season, a 27-12 defeat at the hands of Nebraska. The Tigers are just 2-2 against the spread on the year, but are 2-0 ATS on the road. Blaine Gabbert has thrown for 1,295 yards and 11 touchdowns on the season while Jared Perry and Danario Alexander each have over 440 yards receiving with nine combined touchdowns. Derrick Washington leads the rushing attack with 381 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, the Tigers are holding opponents to 17.8 points and 334 yards per-game.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL have made Oklahoma State 7-point home favorites over Missouri on Saturday night. The over/under total for this game has been established at 57.
