Baylor redshirt junior quarterback Gerry Bohanon (hamstring) is questionable to play vs Oklahoma State. Bohanon (6’3/221) was sidelined with a hamstring injury from an injury sustained in the team’s win over Kansas State earlier this month, but seems to be back on the up. Bohanon, according to Bears head coach Dave Aranda, the quarterback has been able to use his legs in practice and is “day-to-day” for the OSU game. Aranda noted that he has confidence in backup signal-caller Blake Shapen in Bohanon is unable to go.
Oklahoma State Cowboys Game Notes
Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy and his Cowboys climbed to fifth in the latest College Football Playoff rankings that were released on Tuesday night. After an enthralling 37-33 victory in the Bedlam game against rival Oklahoma, the Cowboys jumped Notre Dame to claim the fifth ranking. The ranking is the highest for the Cowboys in the history of the rankings, surpassing their previous high of six in week 11 of 2015. Jumping over Notre Dame is big for the Cowboys, as the Irish are done for the season. If the Cowboys can beat Balor in the Big-12 Championship Game on Saturday, the Cowboys will be in prime position to earn their first playoff berth.

The Bears are just 5-11 against the spread in their last 16 games versus the Cowboys, while the favorite in this series is 16-6 against the number in the last 22 meetings.
