Arkansas offensive lineman arrested

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) – Arkansas offensive lineman Jason Peacock has been arrested for theft of property.

Peacock was arrested by university police Friday night and booked into the Washington County Detention Center with a bond of $2,500. A university police spokesman said Peacock’s arrest report wasn’t immediately available.

The 23-year-old offensive tackle has a court date set for Monday.

He started the last nine games for the Razorbacks last season,

Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino said through a spokesman that he was aware of the situation and that Peacock had been suspended indefinitely.
