No. 8 Alabama looks to stay in the SEC mix on Saturday when the Crimson Tide host Arkansas at 7PM ET on ESPN.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Alabama is the clear favorite in this game, as the Crimson Tide are getting odds of -16.5 points against Arkansas. The over/under total for the game has been set at 48 points. Alabama has won eight straight meetings with Arkansas and the Tide are 5-2 against the spread in the last seven of this series.
Alabama is 4-1 overall, 1-1 in the SEC, 2-3 against the spread and 3-2 with the under. Bama had a 38-10 win last week at Georgia and the Tide have won two straight since a 43-37 loss at home to Ole Miss. Derrick Henry is leading the team with 570 rushing yards and nine touchdowns while Jake Coker has thrown for 976 yards and nine touchdowns at QB.
Arkansas is 2-3 overall, 1-1 in the SEC, 2-3 against the spread and 4-1 with the under. The Razorbacks snapped a three-game losing streak last week with a 24-20 win at Tennessee. Arkansas is averaging 25.8 points and 476 yards per game on offense while the defense is allowing 22.4 points and 359.2 yards per game. Quarterback Brandon Allen is leading the offense with 1,360 yards and eight touchdowns while Alex Collins has 656 rushing yards and six touchdowns.
