Clemson vs. Miami, 12:00PM ET
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the over/under for this game is currently sitting at 54 points. Clemson ranks 10th in the nation in total yards allowed (282.7), 12th in passing yards allowed (167.5) and 14th in points allowed (16.7). Brad Kaaya is one of the most talented quarterbacks in the country but he doesn’t benefit from an effective running game and there are times where the Hurricanes get bogged down offensively. The under is 8-0 in the Tigers’ last eight games versus a team with a winning record and 9-1 in the Hurricanes’ last 10 conference games. Take the under 54.
Northwestern vs. Nebraska, 12:00PM ET
That vaunted Northwestern defense that held Stanford to 6 points in Week 1, Duke to 10 points in Week 3 and shutout Minnesota earlier this month has taken a giant step back. In the past two weeks the Wildcats have surrendered a combined 78 points to Michigan and Iowa and now faces a Cornhuskers offense that seemingly got back on track with a 48-point outburst last week versus the Golden Gophers. Nebraska has played some low-scoring games this month (14-13 loss to Illinois and a 23-21 loss to Wisconsin), but the total for Saturday might be ripe for the taking. The over is 4-1 in the Wildcats’ last five road games and 4-1 in the Huskers’ last five games following a win of more than 20 points. Take the over 48.5.
Indiana vs. Michigan State, 3:30PM ET
Michigan State is coming off an emotional, absolutely wild victory in Ann Arbor and now face an Indiana team that gave away a victory to Rutgers last week. Coming off a rivalry game alone would have been enough to fade Sparty this weekend, but toss in a competitive Hoosiers team getting 16.5 points and Indiana appears to be a strong underdog play on Saturday afternoon. The Hoosiers don’t play defense, but they’ve averaged 34.1 points per game this season and rank 23rd in the nation in total yards per game (478.9). They should be able to keep this within two touchdowns. Take Indiana +16.5.
