Oregon avoided a letdown following its 46-27 win over Michigan State by routing Wyoming 48-14 last Saturday. Heisman Trophy candidate Marcus Mariota accounted for four scores in the win, while defensive back Erick Dargan nabbed two interceptions and Byron Marshall rushed for 80 yards on six carries. The Ducks have now won 50 games of 40-plus points since 2009. No other FBS team has more than 37 wins over that span.
Washington State finally notched its first win of the season with a 59-21 victory over Portland State last Saturday. Quarterback Connor Halliday completed 41-of-62 passes for 544 yards with six touchdowns and two interceptions in the win, while Isiah Myers caught 11 passes for 227 yards with three touchdowns. Dom Williams also added four catches for 112 yards and two scores.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, Oregon is a 22.5-point favorite over Washington State while the over/under total is currently sitting at 77.5 points. The Ducks opened as 19.5-point favorites before the line jumped up to 22.5, while the total opened at 73.5 before also being bet up.
